They mentioned the suspect was sent to a mental health facility last June and evaluated and released in a day and a half. It would be interesting to find out exactly who evaluated him and released him and if there is any record of what the suspect said during that evaluation. Controlling guns may only be part of the solution. Maybe the standards need to be changed evaluating a person like this and releasing him.The fact that some of these people were previously in custody then released and later went on to do mass shootings is troubling.
