I agree. The parks are huge! Aspirin and water is a great tip. This is beautiful hike. Utah is gorgeous. You guys are offering some great tips.

So important to wear sunscreen and bring a hat! Normally I wear sunscreen and not really into hats - but my hubby burns so fast so he's got the old "explorer hat". Good tips about the water too - the camel water bag is a great idea. I didn't realize the altitude was so high there - I'd probably get altitude sickness with my luck. Funny you mention the anxiety - Canada just started prescribing time at our National Parks as medicine! I'm all about picnics too - better to go prepared!!

I love Utah. Such natural beauty. This would be Southern Utah correct? How far from Zion? The rocky beauty is awesome. Love the hike. Good tip on the Mighty 5. People try to spread themselves out so much. Only ever did Zion. I'll have to add this to my list next time I do a Western trip. Gotta keep up with that water. Also a good tip, never get wasted the night before hiking lol. Especially before beehive.
