Have you ever felt FAT, BLOATED, ACHY and TIRED after drinking your morning smoothie? Certain protein powder types tend to inflame the intestines then causing an inflammatory response in the body. Powders such as WHEY, SOY, RICE AND PEA are potentially problematic to many folks. I have found that collagen based proteins are much more neutral on the inflammatory potential scale with clients AND have that beautiful collagen profile that actually helps a gut to heal :-) This isn't a one size fits all universal statement.
