No matter how kind you're actions are, long as you make one penny back, you will NEVER win. Every single time a famous streamer has something to do with charity or a fundraiser (Ludwig, xQc, Hasan, etc) Twitter says 'They are just doing it for the tax break' or something

My grandmother was blind, and it really impacted her life. She was always looking to alternative treatments to let her see again. She would have been thrilled to be given an opportunity like this. These people claiming "abelism" for wanting to cure a debilitating disease are despicable, and should not be given platforms to spread their hateful rhetoric.

Your life has to be real miserable to be angry over someone doing good in the world. Mr. Beast curing these people's blindness, it isn't 100% perfect but he's selflessly putting money for a chance to make these peoples' lives better, he isn't entitled to, don't matter how much money Jimmy has.
If these people had that money they would selfishly spend it on themselves, not a doubt in my mind.

As a disabled person let me say, if someone would come to me and say "I'll pay for a surgery so you don't have to be in pain every day of your life anymore." I would thank them on my knees. For my disability no cure exists yet, but I'm still wishing every day for one to be found and to get rid of it. No one who is disabled wants to be and I have yet to find someone who treats me as less then human because of it.

People mistake "cure" with "we wanna change who they are" which completely misunderstands what wanting or having a cure does in the first place. As I've said to somebody else who pointed out some people keep their blindness that that's completely fine, but those who don't wanna be blind should also have the option to be cured.

Sometimes i wish people would read few times what they're posting and think few times to not make such a contradictions. Yes, disabled people do deserve respect coz like us they're human beings, but also if it's possible to make their life easier, fix or "reduce" their disability so they can enjoy new aspects of life for them, I don't think it's something wrong to do.

Ummm… that entire article is like the model example of what my English teachers tell me I need to write to get top marks for my GCSEs (format wise, don’t agree with it). Search for and use anything you could possibly relate it to, use lots of vocabulary and phrasing, and trying to relate it to the audience. It quite literally sounds like a teenager going of writing what should be an article because they don’t like someone to try and convince others that they’re right.

I never understood it, but it seems "not helping people" is better than "helping people, but not out of the goodness of your heart".
Like, you can't have any other goal or gain in it. If you are helping people and that also leads to something else, you better quit it and just not help. It is better to not give money to the homeless than giving them 10 bucks and later telling someone about it.

Ironically, the only downsides to having sight are Twitter and its similars (like Reddit and so on), which might make someone wish to bleach their eyes with how disgusting they can get.
