This 4 voice synth has gotten a significant upgrade. A poly synth with a 3 octave KB for 619.99. This synth will fit a lot of different needs. A bedroom musician doesn't have to spend a fortune on his hobby to get a great sound. A professional player that has a workstation class KB that uses sequenced songs can add the XD along side his main KB for hooks and solos on the fly. Not a lot of money for a synth that can compliment and existing set up.

For the money, this synth really is a steal. Even Behringer seem to have a hard time competing with those prices, (from what I've heard) even their ARP ODYSSEY clone will cost around 500 bucks.

On the face of it, this has the SOUND of the prologue but with added whizz bang in the form of that superb sequencer. It only has one lfo, but so does the prologue., whose sound this is so close to.

The prologue's sound is still delicioux. Hopefully those tuning issues are a thing of the past with a software update.

Already preordered this babe! Already kinda dreading that they will release a Prologue XD soon with all these features plus other goodies, but right now, today, for the price and feature set, this is the one to get I think. I can't wait for a proper demo from Nick!

Didn’t SH-101 have 100 step sequencer in the 80’s? This has 16 steps.
