President Biden departs for the Middle East

US President Joe Biden has departed the country, bound for Israel to begin his much-anticipated Middle East tour.

Mr Biden will spend three days in Israel before leaving for his next stop in Saudi Arabia.

The President is scheduled to meet both Israeli and Palestinian leaders and is expected to hold talks with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
