Inside The Trillionaire Lifestyle Of John D. Rockefeller

John D. Rockefeller, better known as the richest man in modern history, made his millions through the oil industry. But we all know that, what we want to tell you is how he spent his many millions. Especially in a time when you couldn’t throw it all on crypto!

Stick around till the end of this video and we’ll tell you.
How Much is Rockefeller ACTUALLY Worth?
Rockefeller made his many millions by being one of the first people to enter the oil refining business in the United States. He then went on to found the Standard Oil Company, when it then went on to become the largest oil refinery company in America. In fact, it was so big, that the Supreme Court had ordered it to be dissolved and broken up into other smaller companies, Like Exxon Mobil.

During the time he was alive, Rockefeller amassed up to $1.4 Billion, much of this wealth came from the oil company itself and the incredible amounts of investments that he had made in property and gold.

In today’s world, having just over a billion dollars isn’t that impressive when you have Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates as comparisons. But we have to account for inflation as well. You know, that nasty thing that’s caused the price of gas to go way up in the past five years.

In inflation-adjusted terms, Rockefeller’s quaint $1.4 billion amounts up to just north of $400 billion. Now, that is impressive.

EARLY WOMAN IN BUSINESS He hired my great grandfather, a European horticulturalist and moved he and his 8 year old daughter to live on his Cleveland estate to work on the landscape design and oversee its direction and hired a personal tutor for her education as well. At 18, he financed her florist shop and nursery on the most prestigious corner of the city where she prospered as the female owner of an extremely successful enterprise in the late 19th, early 20th century.

i love how every person who does a video on him, only knows what wikia says. No one bothers to look into where he lived or anything about his life, they ignore the things that made him what he is.

Visited Kykuit recently. The house is actually quite modest, to the point that some visitors are disappointed. None of the Vanderbilt extravagance. Restrained simplicity. Rockefeller was a very strict protestant, so, not only excessive spending on house design was out of the question, but even entertainment, like dancing, was banned.

Hard to purchase a 1946 car when you die in 1937.

He along with Andrew Carnegie contributed to universities If they would teach petroleum or drug and synthetic-based cures. He funded the AMA to go after any doctor that used natural health remedies to help people and got them certified as quacks. He and Carnegie helped close Natural Health Universities and are the reason our medical system treats symptoms and doesn't seek cures. (Does anyone really think drug companies want to cure diseases?) If anyone would actually investigate Rockafeller and Carnegie they would go down in history as the worst things to happen to health care in the world. They stifled natural cures in favor of synthetic drugs and are why medicine is all about treatment rather than cures. And he was also a huge contributor to the World Health Organization (WHO) who are now in the news with Bill Gates doing the same thing. What is it with Billionaires and their money that they think they know more about what people need and push it down people's throats, literally?

The modern industry that needs order is e-commerce. If you step in, you’re still in time to make big money, before a guy like Rockefeller comes along and monopolize the most important aspects lol. This industry will be the oil boom of the 21 century. I’m already on my way to become wealthy, remember this message dear people and do what it what you want.

Along with 'persistence' you also need to have a handful of luck and happen to be in the right place at the right time.

Although he was rich beyond anyone's wildest dreams, according to most accounts on his life, he actually led a quite modest lifestyle.

He had a 1946 towncar limousine and used it to drop his kids off at school?

He died in 1937. That math doesn’t add up.

This video is so fictional it's CRAZY. He "drove" a post-war Caddy... and he died BEFORE the war, at age 97! That's just a start.

This was back when being a millionaire or billionaire actually meant something; and, of course, the dollar went alot further. Both the media & the public were awestruck by such astronomical wealth as Rockefeller possessed. I can remember when I was a child in the 60's hearing quite a bit about Howard Hughes, the one-time movie mogul who turned recluse. He was sort of the "gold standard" for wealth back then, no pun intended. Since those times, billionaires seemingly have become so common in our society as to make no impression whatsoever on a jaded public. I think the overpaid athletes, CEOs, & entertainers of today largely are responsible for this devaluation in these once-upon-a-time, awe-inspiring monetary monikers. The enormous earnings of today's celebrities & corporate czars are so frequently trumpeted as to render the wealth acquired by original U.S. magnates such as Rockefeller almost laughably miniscule by comparison. Yes, Rockefeller's hiring of substitutes to fight in his place during the Civil War is questionable but it was a perfectly legal practice. Mark Twain, long before he'd become a famous writer, voluntarily joined a small Confederate guerilla unit in Missouri during the earliest stages of the conflict, decided it wasn't for him & resigned from the unit, splitting the state without the least consequence to join his brother out west. It was a very different time. In Rockefeller's day, the great oil baron was a household name. Sadly, he's become a forgotten figure.

JDR did not want to use up all the gasoline in his own cars. That was pretty resourceful of him to do even as an oil tycoon.
