Major 8000 Finishing Mower | Massey Ferguson 135

This is an off the cuff account of a second hand Major 8000 Finishing Mower recent purchased through Donedeal. I wondered about the differences between the 8000 and the 8400 before I purchased and in particular the finish it would leave. I was also interested to see if my Massey Ferguson 135 would be up to the job which, albeit under a bit of pressure, is well fit to work once trailing on the rollers. I would not advise the 135 as a permanent solution as the mower (650Kg) is just too heavy and would not be safe to bring on the road. BTW lLfting the 3 point linkage instantly engages power steering.
