As an African oldest daughter, I ESPECIALLY relate to Faith. Always having to do everything and grow up faster than everyone. It's simply not fair and I feel for her so much. I'm rooting for you over here Faith! I'll be your big sister <3

The mom needs to take better care of her children’s hair because this is unacceptable, especially since she’s a hairstylist. How could you send them to school with their hair like that and let them go on tv like that ? I would be upset if my mom did this. And yes I’m aware that they are children so at the end of the day their hair will get messy but their hair looks very dry and neglected.

they need to do their hair. especially in a place like Korea where looking clean and well groomed is so important, she's setting her daughter up to be bullied. it doesn't even have to be anything special, just two cornrow braids would be fine and they would at least 2 weeks. and she's a braider so it shouldn't be that difficult :/

This reminds me of my parents who came to the UK from the Caribbean. I and my older sister did all the chores looked after the younger siblings all boys, who played. My parents had a different mindset very similar to Faith's mom. it was to train us, girls, to know how to look after a family. Her children's hair was the least of her problem. Educating, feeding them, and paying the bills was their priority. The children look healthy and loved. In a foreign country without an extended family, it's hard.

I used to be like Fate, I was THAT cheerful until everything fall apart. It started with getting bullied and excluded by people until I became a timid introvert who can't socialize despite being in my 20s.
