Nvidia’s quarterly forecast failed to impress investors on Wednesday, sparking a tumble for tech stocks. The AI chip champion predicted sales and margins broadly in line with Wall Street estimates - disappointing those who had hoped for something more dramatic. Its shares fell 6% in U.S. after-hours trade as a result, with other chip stocks also taking a hit. AMD dropped nearly 4%, while Thursday morning saw South Korea’s SK Hynix down almost 6%.
