My first attempt at a Frankenstrat using a Squier Affinity HSS.

I used a new Squier Affinity Stratocaster. I removed the middle pickup but kept the original humbucker and neck pickup. The middle position on the 5 way switch now works as a cutoff. I angled the humbucker like Eddie and mounted the pickups to the body, using some extra wood since the Affinity body is too thin to screw the humbucker directly to it. It actually sounds good, but goes out of tune quick if I use the tremolo.

Not bad at all. I like it. It's better than what I could do.
But can he play or does he only just paint?
