How to get paid Sheet Music on Musescore for FREE

In this video I will be showing you how to get the paid sheet music on Musicscore for free.

Because of a recent update to security, this exact method does not work. HOWEVER: A slight modification makes it still work. The steps are as follows:

1: Download the first page as listed above. It contains no security.

2: Press the "Toggle Device Toolbar" button immediately next to the "Select An Element In The Page" Button (it looks like a little computer on Chrome)

3: Then press the select element button, and select each page individually, gaining the links as above. These links will automatically download one page each.

4: Either use a PDF/SVG Combiner to make a single digital file, or print individually.


Good luck, and remember: Musescore doesn't write anything. They just charge you for other people's work :)

OMG IT REALLY WORKS! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I couldn't get it to work because the pages after the second page were blank and the score_0 thing wasn't working. But then I read some comments and learned that I have to use toggle device toolbar (two triangles near the select element option). I used toggle device toolbar and was able to download all the pages. Then I converted everything, combined it and… BOOM! I got sheet music for the piece I wanted.

Great advice! A slightly less accurate-to-original scale but quicker option if anyone needs it is to take a screenshot. On mac, it’s CMND-Shift-4 (then you highlight the portion of the music page you want to screenshot) for each page and voila! There you go!

consequent pages are now hosted on a different image host. You will need to now get the second page onwards seperately

In my case: it worked with other pages if I right clicked and selected “Open in new tab” and it would download it automatically for me🎉

Instead of sending the file to a svg to pdf converter you can simply right click of the svg image and print to pdf. Overal great video
