Homeschool Prep with Me | Gather Round Artist Unit Study || Advice for New Homeschool Moms

Hi! And welcome back to my channel, for another Homeschool Prep with Video! This week I’m launching our Artist Unit Study from Gather ‘Round Homeschool and we are all so excited!

I’ll give you guys a peek inside the unit, and also show you how I plan to blend it with a couple other unit studies, and I’ll share my main piece of advice for new homeschooling Moms!

If you are new here, I’m Christina, a first-year homeschooling mom of 5 kids (ages 1, 2, 5, 9, & 13). I am also a full-time teacher, and just went back to teaching in person after about a year of teaching virtually. I’ll continue to share our homeschooling journey, and I’m excited to connect with you!

I don’t prep as much 4 each unit but we do come back to a topic we learnt in a gather round lesson and we do activities related to that topic. We don’t do extra books for gather round unless my kids are struggling to get a topic.
