Hot Wheels Unleashed: New Update Patch Changes The Shop, Fixes AI and Adds Checkpoints!

Hot Wheels Unleashed has received its second game update patch and it address things like more cars in the limited shop, checkpoints added to certain tracks and fixes to AI behaviour.

In this video I'll be running down all of the new patch notes for this Hot Wheels Unleashed Update which introduces an increase in cars from 5 to 7 in the shop along with a short refresh timer of 1:30hr instead of 4hrs. On top of that players can now also filter user created tracks by environment just another quality of life improvement to the games searching functionality.

This Hot Wheels Unleashed update has also fixed some minor bugs and and some stability issues, hopefully we see some more requested issues get addressed in future updates for Hot Wheels Unleashed.

I think this patch is a good step forward. The shop is much better now, and they're actually fixing tracks that are in my opinion broken(when WR is like 1-2 seconds). Hopefully as you said they fix the coins earned in the future but this is a good step.

The Patch is now on the Switch, thank god the Shop changes more often, i still need 11 missing cars...

I wish they used the actual names of the tracks in the patch notes instead of the "location number" system, but it's whatever. Good patch, but hopefully they fix the AFK player issue soon.

The other day I logged in and lost all of the liveries that I had downloaded (for the second time). Hope this patch gives them back to me, but I doubt it will.

I'm honestly hoping they take a while longer to fix the AFK. I'm fully expecting the reward rate to remain abysmal, so with any luck I can farm the amount I need before that patch comes.

They need to address the multiplayer mode still. Maybe an auto kick if you aren’t crossing the finish line *at* *all* or didn’t pass multiple checkpoints depending if there are checkpoints. after someone has done it the required three so like no finish line crossed, not coins and you get kicked after. So it’s not a kick based on movement seen some spergs somehow still making their car drive and go nowhere really, they still aren’t there. They all need to go. this would probably fix em both.

Thank god they fixed some of the tracks checkpoints. Its annoying when people fly across the track and skip checkpoints. They need to flix the livery problem next.

Hopefully they change how the custom tracks are selected in MP... playing the same "popular" tracks is annoying. Rather play tracks made by people in the lobby...

I don't have the game let. But it would be awesome to see the afk cars blow up after so long because of how many people are going afk. Or even be a thing where the ai kicks in and drives the car for them but they won't get anything after said ai kicks in. And best for it. It should be easy ai. XD like they are going slow for a reason. Lol

Damn I was kinda ok with 4 hours for the shop as it does take quite some time to accumulate enough money to get everything in the shop before it disappears.
I guess im just gonna have to pass on the limited offers sometimes so I can save money for something I really want. Hopefully, they add more ways to make money or increase the amount we earn already.

I didn't lose my liveries.. but some of the layers resized or went back to default. The truck in the thumbnail is my design, you can see how the door isn't fully covered.. you can't see the back but it needs fixed too. I will be reuploading the fixed version in about an hour. Thank you MisterBo.

I was playing for a few hours yesterday, and I noticed no significant improvement in AI difficulty. If anything, they're more unforgiving. Medium still feels like what Hard or Extreme should be. If you're not using a fully upgraded meta car, well good luck to you!

1:05 I'm surprised those were the tracks they chose to add checkpoints to. Off the top of my head, those tracks don't have many major shortcuts compared to some other ones (I'm glad they didn't change those, lol)

Anyone else having problems downloading other peoples custom liveries? I tried downloading a Bleach one for the 71 el Camino and it doesnt show up in my collection when changing liveries with triangle.
