Is This Moto Tag Bluetooth Tracker Feature Really a GAME CHANGER?

_The Smarttag2 do not work without internet connection, when You lost Your keys in a forrest, where is no mobile network, than also the bluetooth connection won't work .... this should be updatet in my honest opinion._

_and this decision that these only work with there own Samsung phones, might is clever BUT I would like more that these are open for all andoid devices. Might in the future comes a new smarttag which can used with all types of phones ?_

I'm not a real gadget guy, I'm currently using a regular android phone but about six months ago when I changed my phone plan part of the deal was a new Samsung 5G phone that I haven't bothed to use yet because to me there isn't anything wrong with this phone and I usually end up dropping them or they die and I seem to be replacing phones every year or two so I was waiting for this one to fail before breaking out the new Samsung and at the moment this one is still working fine
Anyway I bought a Monimoto GPS tracker for my motorcycle, and saw in comments on videos about the Monimoto trackers suggestions about also fitting something like an Apple Air Tag not only as a back up tracker but also as a decoy mounted in a more obvious place for any would be thief to find more easily than the well hidden GPS tracker
So, if I got Motorola Moto Tag to use with my current phone would the Moto Tag also be compatible with the Samsung phone when I do eventually start to use it ?
Or do you think I should retire this perfectly good phone and start using the new Samsung and get a Smart Tag ?

While camera trigger is not a key feature of the trackers Motorola should focus on opgrading tracking abiliy. When I usually check lats position of the tracker I get its position from the last day or in best case 10-12 hours before. Today when I checked this it showed position from yesterday when I was travelling in a crowded train. Its almost 120km away where the tracker is right now. 😂 Thats useless😅

Just replaced the battery in 2 tags (Very low battery notification) and got the firmware update notification...with Battery optimisation, which I knew nothing about. I said I'd leave a 3 tag (Not currently in use) to see how much longer it would last on Very Low battery for future reference, but after the firmware update its went back to battery normal 😕...I guess ill keep the 2 batteries I removed as they are probably just fine

Does this track real life movements on Google maps? As In if you have this with your kids will it move as they walk on Google maps?

I just took out the battery and put it back in and the level says normal again, no big deal
