S4 ep. 1-7 were above average but not as good compared to S1, S2, and S3. But that last episode. God damn, The Boys has shown again why it's a genius show. Too hyped for S5.

I'm calling it, since Kimiko used Black Noir's dagger, this could be a reference to her fight with him, but I'm guessing it's some foreshadowing that they're going after Black Noir II, who could be Sam, this would be likely since Sam and Cate got promoted by Vought as the Guardians of Godolkin, what other good way to further promote that than to make Sam the second Black Noir.

They can either sell off that Black Noir left the team or got sent off for too long on the mission that he had to be substituted, so they can easily instill Sam as the substitute. I get that Black Noir's shtick is being mysterious or secretive but they can as easily forget and toss the idea of Sam ever being there, making Black Noir II a secret Sam which no one knows is Sam since the attention can possibly be used to give more attention to Cate or Homelander.
