Trudeau Admits Canada "Had No Proof" Against India in Nijjar's Killing | Subscribe to Firstpost
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has admitted that his government provided only "intelligence, not proof" to India regarding the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada last year. Testifying at a foreign interference inquiry on October 16, Trudeau revealed that Canadian agencies tried to engage India privately before making the allegations public. However, when India requested evidence, Canada could only offer intelligence. In response, Indian Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal reiterated that Canada has yet to present any evidence supporting its serious accusations against India and its diplomats, a position India has consistently maintained.
