WORKS after the new map expansion update. However, placing the medallion a dozen times or so took me several hours. Very happy with the floating build I've gotten. Thank you!

This game's building and mechanics are so janky people have to resort to bugging the game out and figuring out quirks to actually build cool builds vs them just creating a good build system in the first place. Pretty frustrating. Very clever work from the community!

Thanks very much! I got this to work last night on PC with the standard large torn rug and no additional players/no nukes. Took a bit of server hopping to find a buggy server but took only a few tries once I noticed server was lagging and raced back to my camp to give it a go.

Doing this right now June 2023 and its worked great so far only change I made is putting the Enclave disc on a power conduit (like a record on a needle) and spinning it while spamming X is way easier than dragging.

Dude when you explained that placing a non blueprinted upper floor won’t allow you to delete it, it made me realise I can commit to building some of the ideas I have for pre existing building camps. I never knew that’s how you avoid that. Legend!!!

I have found a way to build high without nukes.
Build 10-15 emblems on top of each other and you will find that you create a server lag yourself. If it doesn't work build another 10-15 emblems on top of the others. Now it work for me very Good and Really fast :)

Being a applicant to EAF I got to see their "drone" platforms in action and I had to figure out how they do it. Very cool!

2024 - June - this all still works. Blue brahmin and ducks struggle to fit but if you try another plushy or floor toy in the same way shown in video it works.

Medallion trick to grow higher works also but it needs patience took me a few hours to get this right as at times it wont let you place the module on the floating medallion and say “needs support” jump server and try again it works

Once you start from you first semi permanent object a you only need a teammate to stack carpets. Also I was not able to remove the blueprinted floors but are necessary because on the third tier of my climbing i was not able to use non blue printed uppers but on the next gain it was not a problem. All in all works well currently trying to get as close to as possible to the eviction notice event location to see what is possible. Thank you for this video can't wait to see part 2

It's much more easier to start a macroscrip that will be pressing the button for you coz at a certain speed limit the game can't take it and it will create the world object. I usually use a tinker workbench I put my camp system on it it will sink then I place a vault door in it and from normal rugs you can built another platform to rinse repeat. That's how I have my spaceshit avt 250 meters high for 2 years by now
:) and basically there is one simple rule when you building in the air: when you place a floor or stairs, that's that. It's glued.
Blueprint everything down there Ike all kinds of walls and up you go. :)

Got everything to work! I found that if you're on pc using a macro is a lot easier, and it doesn't require another person. Can't wait for that next tutorial!
