Question of the Day: Tell me about a time you wished someone good luck or a time they wished you good luck. 🍀

For example: Last month I auditioned for a play and my husband told me to break a leg 😉.

my favorite encouraging words are:
"go for the block!",
"cheers up!",
"I expect that you can do it", and
"I beleave that you will do it".
"go for the block" word was said by the old legend wrestler Masa Saito.
by the way, your husband looks like Japanese prime minister Kishida, doesn't he?

Hello Jen, wonderful lesson to wish good luck. Now we really need to use these expressions very often, due to the world situation we find ourselves in. I hope all goes well with you and your family. I would like to be in Canada and be able to practice them in conversation with friends. It would be the best way to record them in memory. We use two of them exactly the same. "Knock wood=toquemos madera" and "fingers crossed=crucemos los dedos”, I use them quite often. Thanks for the opportunity you give us to learn such appealing expressions that without you we wouldn´t be able to discover.
Let me send you my good vibes for all your commitments🍁👏🏼

Hi JeN.How have you been doing?I'm glad to see your sweetheart,Tomo, made cameo appearances three times.
My daughter-in-law was expecting until 23rd of this month.
I had been encouraging her through my son to take care of herself and have a baby safely. And,finally,a baby boy was born on Monday last week. They gave him the name ‘ 大誠 ’ ,or Taisei.大 means,as you may huge.誠 means sincerity, honesty, and faithfulness.
He is the first grandchild for me and I'd like to see him in person ASAP.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you
to get along with your husband.
Have a nice day☀.
