However, God views such beliefs as a form of idolatry, which is incompatible with his worship.​

*The world (this system of things)* promotes a desire to get something for nothing, and the Bible encourages hard work. Those who follow the Bible’s advice can eat the food they earn, and share it with others. Saying that you'll help the homeless if you win, is not within God's will. You'll take money from your neighbors, and give it to others and pat yourself on the back convincing yourself you did a [good deed]. Did you do a good deed by desiring your neighbor's losses, so you can gain the winnings?

Gambling can arouse an unhealthy competitive spirit, which is disapproved of in the Bible. If you a person truly want to help your fellow man, the first step is to pray and ask for wisdom in all your decisions, so that they fall within God's will. If you are participating in activities or deeds that go against his will, your prayers will only be heard by the rocks in your backyard.

The more I learned the Bible's truth, the freer I became from this system of things in this selfish world, where everyone only looks out for number one. This world teaches us to be independent and not care about being considerate towards others. We live in me and my world. Please leave God out of your prayers when asking for lottery money—He is not going to participate in your selfish desires to gain something for nothing 🙏🏼
