Yes! The Decipher Star Wars: CCG was AMAZING!

Haven’t played Queen’s Gambit. Sounds pretty awesome actually but Rebellion w/expansion is easily in my top 10 games of all time.

I wish Tiny Epic Galaxies had a Star Wars theme on it. That would be super awesome.

My favorite is Star Wars LCG, I hope it makes the list. If I know Tom I bet Star Wars Destiny is #10 which is sad since it's better than Dicemasters, which has probably always been in his top 5 since it came out.

Imperial Assault! Campaign and skirmish? Play with the app for pure co-op? Absolutely amazing. Havent looked back since I jumped on that train!

Star Wars Risk is one of the best games I've ever played. Completely blew me away. The Risk name shouldn't even be associated with it. It plays nothing like it. It's much faster and far more enjoyable.

Thanks for the video. WOTC Star Wars Minis and FF Star Wars LCG are two of my favorites that you did not mention. (Thanks for recommending Queen's Gambit to me back when we were in Korea. Love it.) Also, as a kid, I used to play Hasbro "Battle at the Sarlaac Pit" game. Really loved it as a kid - haven't revisited it as an adult to see if it is still good. I will have to do that sometime.

Edit: Just saw a gameplay video on the Sarlaac Pit Game - I remember it now - way to simplistic for adults, but great for kids and looks fantastic!

My list would be 1) starwars rebellion 2) the queens gambit 3) imperial assault 4) star wars tcg (decipher) 5) battle for endor (west end games, solitaire) 6) xwing miniatures 7) star wars risk 8) outer rim 9) armada 10) star wars lcg 11) star wars legion 12) star wars destiny 13) star wars battle (west end games, loved how the skirmish battle system incorporated nicely into the starwars D6 rpg system) 14) wotc star wars minis. Star wars tcg really deserves a high spot on the list the later expansion sets greatly improved gameplay making every card in the game useful with lots of different possible strategies to win. This game let player skill shine through; the card deck as resource manipulation was a very unique mechanic and led to tense end games where you would count every remaining card in the deck as to have enough resources to act and had to set up combos to recycle cards back into the deck. I feel its a pity they havent yet published similar games to the queens gambit; several battles would suite very nicely for this mechanic of several mni-battles happening at the same time; the battle for hoth/the end battle of rogue one/the end battle of return of the jedi would all fit nicely. Star wars risk was a good attempt but the scope and impact of the side battles is too small on the main battle.

I have to concur, while I don't love Episode 1, I do love Queen's Gambit. Given the ease of play, the pacing, and the amount of fun I've had with it I would put it at the top of the list too. I haven't played rebellion, but given the increased complexity it has over Queen's gambit, even if I loved it I'd probably have to put it second because it would be that much harder for me to get to the table.

Haven't played "Queen's Gambit"... always hear it's similar to SW: Risk (because of the three way battle) but Rebellion is easily one of the best games I have played. 3 and 4 player version is gimmicky but the two player is amazing, such an epic game! Great list. Cheers

I wish there was a Star Wars game where you trade goods. Maybe then my beloved Jawas would be represented in a board game. I also love Tusken Raiders.

I played Queen's Gambit with the Brandt from the Portal Gaming Podcast on Table Top day a few years ago. It was amazing. My top three Star Wars games are; 3)Star Wars Family Feud, you don't need to be a fan to play. 2)Star Wars Destiny 1)X-Wing miniature game. I do have some old Attacktix in a tote box. I'm waiting until my nephews get older to play with them.

I wish I could play Rebellion as my job.
And armada as my vacation.

Miniatures Battles is something to be considered highly and is severely underappreciated and Star Warriors should also be seriously considered. These are sorta the older and more detailed, more heavy brothers to Legion and X-Wing respectively, and can be integrated with the WEG Star Wars: The RPG! I'd also bring up Battle for Hoth and I really think you should keep Sabacc from Crisis on Cloud City, another WEG addition, as up there. It is a competitor with card classics like Poker and Blackjack to me, which it sorta combines along with its own spin.

I'd put Rebellion above Queen's Gambit, though I've only gotten to play it virtually recently.

I'd put Miniatures Battles (WEG) at the top just because of how much grit you can put into it and alter it and modify which it encourages and really engages with the players, but it's damn close with Rebellion. If I was to wrap in Star Warriors and the RPG though then WEG easily takes it with just how well put together its system is as a whole. One of the most expansive RPG systems ever developed.

would love to try out queen's gambit, doubt I ever will though. was surprised to hear you say queen's gambit is less complex than star wars rebellion

Tom's top 10s are okay...but I REALLY miss the interaction of Zee and Sam in the longer countdowns.

Did you just say you had not seen star wars until you played the Decipher CCG game in 1995?
