Very nice. I agree with you regarding the Griffith's Gnat; it's saved me many times. In fact, a few years ago I was watching my son fish a fast run on the Beaver Kill River and having no luck. I yelled down to him from where I was "Try a Griffith's Gnat" - boom, fish on on his first cast.

Interesting choices and difficult to argue the number 1 pick. I use flat wing CDCs in various colours, especially a mixed fur variant created by Chris Ogbourne several years ago. Very versatile and extremely effective selection.

Excellent video with good insights given for the flies chosen, I'll be looking to stock up with the Griffiths Nat, bibio hopper and the little black f fly for the small waters I fish.
