Ezhou Guanyin Pavilion, also known as "longpanji Temple", is located on the Yangtze River longpanji outside Xiaodong gate, Echeng District, Ezhou City, Hubei Province.
It was built in the fifth year of the supper Yuan Dynasty (1345).
Ezhou Guanyin Pavilion sits facing the West and stands against the water.
The pavilion is 24 meters long, 10 meters wide and 14 meters high.
The base is made of stone and the pavilion body is built with green bricks. It is a typical Pavilion style building with wooden frame structure.
There are one Pavilion, three halls and two floors in the pavilion, with a total area of more than 300 square meters.
Ezhou Guanyin Pavilion is well laid out and exquisitely constructed.
With a Zhu sill cloister and double eaves flying couplets, it shows the typical artistic characteristics of folk architecture in the south of the Yangtze River. It also integrates the culture of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism. It is the only place in the Yangtze River, so it is known as "the first Pavilion in the Yangtze River".

Some time ago, a photographer aerial photographed Ezhou Guanyin Pavilion, known as the first Pavilion of the Yangtze River, with a high-definition UAV. It was flooded by the flood peak of the Yangtze River, leaving only high-rise windows. It still stands in the turbulent River, becoming a "net red" and known as "Pavilion strong". Now Guanyin pavilion has become a tourist attraction. People often stop at the Bank of the Yangtze River, and many swimmers cross the Yangtze River to have a rest in the temple.
