Theories of Punishment... Introduction to section 53 of IPC

Before understanding section 53 of the Indian Penal Code i.e. Punishment, we are required to have a basic understanding about the different theories of punishment. So, in this video we will be covering the four major theories of punishments i.e. the Deterrent theory, Preventive Theory, Retributive theory and Reformative theory.
