In 2012 nurse Penny was rushed to the emergency room where her husband watched helplessly as she stopped breathing, was placed on life support and into a medically induced coma. This scene replayed 18 times over two and a half years. Penny shares her story, her near-death experience and her conversation with God that lead to her complete recovery.

I have worked in cath labs, and health care with nurses, techs for almost a decade and a half. Penney reminds me of the ones who are on top of their game all the time. You can tell by the way she talks, that she is the one you can go to when you need to work on the equipment, get input on any problems it is having, need quality information about what happened during the case, or professional input on anything of relevance in the field. You can sense that about her. She is a textbook pro nurse, it oozes from her.

So so inspiring . I get it, a little. Especially the part about the love moving from your toes up. After my Mom died my brother came to me in a dream and gave me a hug (he was deceased years before). I felt all the sorrow drain out of me and be replaced with that love you spoke of.

I cannot thank you enough for sharing. You have no idea your sharing this will do for others. You have no idea how big this gift is you are sharing with the rest of us. This is unique compared to the hundreds of NDEs I have watched and read about. The whole piece about the "thoughts" thing to me was a huge value to us on this side. Sometimes we need some straight forward instruction. Even though we know we shouldn't do that, your experience put it back in the forefront of obeying God if that makes sense. I lost my beloved son a short time ago. I am struggling to just stay alive the pain is so great (to me it is).
