Many of the ppl of Kongo and Ndongo are in places like New Orleans, South Carolina and Virginia, USA. The mbundu tribe arrived in Virginia, USA on august 20, 1619 and even to this day, every Sunday, African Americans gather around Congo square New Orleans and do the dances of their ancestors from kingdom of Kongo. There is a prison nearby called Angola penitentiary, but it was originally named plantation for Angolans
