Northeast Ohio weather forecast: Summer-like humidity builds with storm chances

Your 6 p.m. Northeast Ohio weather forecast for Aug. 25, 2024: The humidity has returned across Northeast Ohio to kickoff the workweek. The mercury will soar towards the upper 80s with heat indices in the 90s.

Tuesday will be hotter with increasing storm chances. The Storm Prediction Center has included much of the area under a 1 & 2 threat level. The humidity will fuel stronger thunderstorms. The threat will include wind and hail. We will keep you updated of placement and timing of these storms.

The heat and storm threat will continue each afternoon through late week. A potent cold front will finally sweep through Friday into Saturday bringing back seasonal conditions.
