How long do the 1100 Lumens last before the light gets to hot and steps down? How many lumens does it output after the stepdown? Are you able to put the Turbo to full press instead of strobe?

The edc23 wil be 2500 lumen only on release according to Nitecores website guess they had some heat problem

Nitecore really has to do something about their clips. A deep carry clip. The back end of the lights stock out too far from the pocket. I have the EDC27 and EDC29. They both stick out too far for my liking. I also have an EDC33. That light is a pocket shredder. Not all lights need a deep carry clip...but at least make a couple.

I orefer the EDC29 you can at least use it in self defense in a pinch.
