🎸ABOUT THIS LESSON
In this lesson, I am going to walk you through one of the most beautiful guitar songs of all time. Some of these songs are so emotionally powerful that they can become the reason why you start playing the guitar in the first place.

The song we will be taking a look at is called Spanish Romance. This song was written by an anonymous composer in 1900.

We will explore the simple melody, harmony, rhythm, and dynamics. I will show you how to play the song in three different ways so that you can slowly make your way up to the original composition.

I had a lot of fun recording this video so let me know if you like it. I am sure we can discuss more songs like this one.

Enjoy the video. Tabs on my Patreon page.🎸UDEMY COURSES | 63% DISCOUNT

🎸FAQs:
Are you a full-time YouTuber?

How long have you been playing guitar?
I started playing guitar when I was 10 years old, so it has been more than 20 years. I have always loved fingerpicking guitar, so this is why all my tutorials focus on this topic.

Why are you on Patreon?
Patreon is great! It allows creators to make money doing what they love. On Patreon, I can share my guitar lessons with my Patrons and get paid for it. As a creator, I feel like Patreon really made a massive difference in the way I share my content :)

Do you do concerts?
I used to do a lot of gigs in the past. London is a great place to play music almost every day. When my YouTube channel started to grow, I decided to go all-in and try to help as many people as possible learning guitar. This goal takes all the time I have available, so I am not doing any gig or concert atm.

I am bewildered to think that people would thumb down this video. If I try to look at it in a negative fashion I still cannot find anything to dislike. Perfectly paced tutorial, beautifully played and didn't cost me a penny...what's not to like?

20 years ago, my parents bought me an acoustic guitar. My best friend, who was also a student of the classical guitar, played me this song and showed me how to play the six open strings off a staff. This is the song he used to play for me along with Bouree and I was driven by the challenge to accomplish what he had accomplished, so I learned to play it way before I had started the lessons for it. Once I accomplished that I lost interest. Maybe I'll reclaim my lost interest now...🤔

Thanks for sharing! This brings back fond memories.

Nothing else matters was the song that tricked me to start playing guitar 14 years ago. Today I'm still playing the damn song.
You said it so well, there are beautiful songs, and then there are amazing ever lasting songs. 14 more years from now, I'll still be playing Nothing else matters :D

This was the piece that made me take up classical guitar. 4 months in, I can play grade 1 pieces. Best decision of my life:)

Isaac Albéniz Asturias. Picking up the guitar again after surgery on my right arm (10 years of pain). Used to play "classic rock" in my younger days. Brother in law famous classical guitar player dragged me back in! :)

For me Sweet child made me play guitar.
With Romance I first heard it from MCR's first album, and then here we are today

"Is there anybody out there?" by Pink Floyd really inspired me to play acoustic guitar in the fingerpicking style.

Thank you. I've always felt this particular song reverbs with unexplained innermost sadness, yet appeals to the guitar player in everyone. I've just been motivated to revisit my old, trusty 6-strings. Respect from the Philippines.

Part A was actually one of the first pieces I learnt and honestly this video makes me want to practice again. Life has gotten too busy to pick up the guitar lately but I'll find time again for sure 😊

My number 1 inspirational song was Black Bird by the Beatles, very closely followed by Green Sleeves (a child is born). Finding your finger style lessons caused me to pick up the guitar again! Thank you for this beautiful lesson. 👍🏽👍🏽
