I love the content of all these videos!

One frustration I have, and maybe its been addressed in the last 10 months since this series was put together, is your audio is quiet compared to the ad rolls. It makes it quite jarring to have to turn you up significantly and then get blown out by an ad multiple times in the video. Uploading videos with your audio louder will help that issue.

Managing Linux
Shells, Terminals, and Consoles:

Shell: A command interpreter that allows users to interact with the OS (e.g., bash, zsh, ksh).
Terminal: User interface for a shell, used to operate without a desktop environment.
Desktop Environments: Examples include GNOME, KDE, Cinnamon, and XFCE, launched within the X-Window display system.
Console Switching: Use Ctrl + Alt + Fx to switch between multiple terminals (virtual TTY consoles).
Command Interface:

Case Sensitivity: Commands, parameters, and file/directory names are case-sensitive.
Help Options: Commands like --help and man provide syntax and function information.
File Editors:

Nano: A basic text editor, popular with users transitioning from Windows.
VI or Vim: A more advanced editor preferred by experienced Linux users.
Navigation Commands:

PWD: Print Working Directory, displays the current directory.
CD: Change Directory, used to navigate between directories.
LS: List contents of a directory, similar to dir in Windows.
CAT: Outputs the contents of a file to the terminal.
Search Commands:

Find: Searches for files within directories.
Grep: Searches through file contents, with filtering capabilities.
File Management Commands:

CP: Copies files to a different directory or with a different name.
MV: Moves or renames files, similar to the Windows “cut” command.
RM: Deletes files or directories (with -r for recursive deletion).
Disk Management:

DF: Displays free space on devices.
DU: Reports usage for directories and files.
Managing macOS
Interface Features:

Menu Bar: Located at the top, it changes commands based on the active window.
Dock: Provides quick access to apps, similar to the Windows taskbar.
Spotlight: A search feature used to find almost anything on the system, equivalent to Windows search (e.g., Cortana).
Mission Control: Used for window management and setting up multiple desktops.
System Preferences:

Apple Keyboards: Key differences in modifier keys like Command, Option, and Control.
Magic Mouse & Trackpad: macOS supports gesture-based inputs.
Displays: Allows for scaling, brightness, and calibration adjustments.
Accessibility: Tools for users needing assistive technologies (e.g., screen narrators, contrast settings).
Security and User Management:

Apple ID: Links local accounts with services like the App Store and iCloud.
Privacy: Controls permissions for apps to access services like location and camera.
FileVault: Encryption tool to secure data on the hard drive.
Finder and iCloud:

Finder: Equivalent to File Explorer in Windows, used to navigate files and folders.
iCloud: Cloud storage for syncing data across Apple devices, similar to OneDrive in Windows.
App Management:

App Store: Central portal for downloading and updating apps, requires an Apple ID.
App Installation Formats:
DMG: For simple app installations.
PKG: For apps requiring additional setup steps.
Backup and Recovery:

Time Machine: Backs up data to external drives with hourly, daily, and weekly retention cycles.
Device and Network Settings:
