❗Qualifying NEET is mandatory for MBBS Abroad as per the National Medical Commission of India. The NEET qualification criteria depends on your category.

If you belong to General Category, you must have 50 percentile in NEET. *Remember- Percentile is different than percentage. So in terms of marks, the qualifying marks varies each year. Here are the qualifying marks for General Category for the past 3 years:
In 2022: 117 or more
In 2021: 138 or more
In 2020: 147 or more

If you belong to ST/SC/OBC, you must have 40 percentile in NEET. *Remember- Percentile is different than percentage. So in terms of marks, the qualifying marks varies each year. Here are the qualifying marks for ST/SC/OBC for the past 3 years:
In 2022: 93 or more
In 2021: 108 or more
In 2020: 113 or more

Q: Can I take admission in MBBS Abroad without NEET?
A: Qualifying NEET is must. If you take admission in medical universities abroad without qualifyng the NEET exam, you won't be eligible to give the licensing exam of India (FMGE/soon to be NEXT), and hence won't be able to work as doctor in India.

Q: Can i qualifying NEET exam year after taking admission in MBBS abroad?
A: No, it is not possible. You must qualify before going for MBBS Abroad. Or, you must have qualified NEET earlier as NEET score card is valid for 3 year. For example, If you want study MBBS Abroad in 2023, you must qualify NEET in 2023 or have qualified in 2022 or 2021. But it is not possible to qualify NEET in 2024 if you have already taken admission in 2023.
