There are over 30 different types of Kryptonite, and each one affects Superman, or sometimes humans, in different ways.

First there is Green Kryptonite, the most infamous of them all. Known for weakening Superman and posing a fatal threat if he's exposed for too long.

Then, there's Red Kryptonite, which brings unexpected consequences ranging from transforming Superman into a dragon to granting him telepathy.

Platinum Kryptonite takes things a step further by permanently granting Kryptonian powers to humans.

Pink Kryptonite is more controversial. Originally altering Superman's attraction preferences, in a Justice League Action animated short, it changed Superman's physical gender.

Orange Kryptonite, featured in the DC Animated movie "DC League of Super-Pets," gives superpowers to animals.
