🔶Ingredients
- 1 ea - Honey Suckle Frozen Young Turkey Breast basted
- The Killer Hogs - The BBQ Rub
- 1/8 Cup - Blue Hogs - Raspberry Chipotle BBQ Sauce
- 1/4 Cup - Blue Hogs - Original BBQ Sauce
- 1/3 Cup - Maple Syrup

🔶Directions
1. Preheat the Recteq Pellet Smoker to 250°
2. Separate the Turkey Ribs and Backbone from the Breast
3. Season the Back side of the Turkey Breast with The Killer Hogs - The BBQ Rub
4. Season the Front side of the Turkey Breast with The Killer Hogs - The BBQ Rub
5. Smoke the Turkey Breast until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°
6. Mix the 1/8 Cup - Blue Hogs - Raspberry Chipotle BBQ Sauce, 1/4 Cup - Blue Hogs - Original BBQ Sauce & 1/3 Cup - Maple Syrup
7. Bast the Turkey Breast with the BBQ Sauce
8. Return the Turkey Breast to the smoker to set the sauce for about 10-minutes or until it becomes tacky.
9. Remove and allow it to rest.
10. Slice and enjoy

Looks good, but that’s overcooked. Always pull the bird at 160° and let it carry over cook (rest) to 165°. Especially if you’re going to put it back on to set the glaze.

Did you have to do anything/trimming to the breast after pulling it out of the package or was it ready to go on the grill immediately?

I don't like the leathery skin from completely smoking turkey or chicken. I have a method of getting smoke flavor into the meat without cooking the turkey for a long time and ruining the skin and then I wrap it and finish cooking it so that it is juicier.
