Question for you what are the two holes in the back that push air out on the sound bar? I’m assuming it’s for the bass but if I push it up against the wall with the mounts, does that interfere with the bases or the sound quality at all? Feels like it needs some space between the wall and the soundbar to give it its full effect?

We have the 900 and love it. We also have the bass module 700 and the two work flawlessly together. The bass module works just as well as the bar at all volumes. Some bar and sub combos sound boomy and kinda sloppy, but the Bose combo is tight, punchy and deep.
If your keeping the 900, it’s worth splurging on the bass module 500 or 700.

How does this perform as a standalone (or maybe with a sub added but no sattelites in the back) ? Im considering getting rid of the 600 + rear speakers and exchange that for the 900. I dont need cinema style surround sound but would be nice of the soundbar could give some immersion with the upfiring speakers and the adaptiq setup

What about rear surround speakers? I guess they don't come with them but how good is this bar and sub just on its own ? I have a Samsung q90r sound bar with the rears, its getting old now and im after upgrading. Would this sound bar be worth buying and upgrading from my Samsung bar ?

I agree with you. I bought one and it sounds so crisp like watching a movie in the theatre.

The only issue is connectivity on the Bose app (From the phone) but there is no issue when you're watching a movie or playing music on the TV

Hi, does someone know how to connect using bass output some active subwoofer different brand? I have SVS SB-1000Pro and even on the SVS web they said it is working only need a 3.5mm jack to RCA adapter and then sub cable...but it's not. I checked cables, connect it to the smartphone and sub is working but from Bose not, it seems like there is no signal at this Bass output, how to enable it?

Great until it randomly disconnects from the TV for whatever reason and you troubleshoot for hours and nothing works so you give up
