Vatican museum is the best museum in the world. I was more impressed by it than the Louvres.

Impossible not to suffer from a vertigo, that’s how I’m feeling having watched this video. Thousands and thousands of invaluable capolavori generously made available to the crowds of breadwinners. An experience beyond even the extraordinary. To me the SCULPTURE is the the art closest to the divine. Antonio Canova’s Perseus is the utmost masterpiece of the human hand. The tapestries hold the onlookers in awe, too. But what bothers me is that culture of the snapshot. The majority of the visitors are not looking at the artworks, they are merely interested in taking a good photo. Well, signum temporis. Alas, one might say. To you, darling Luca I bow low for this very special treat. ❤LPS
