Crazy answer! This team are full of superstars that can play roles as effective as the other. Kerr's words are simply disrespect for a player that he invited to play for him in the first place. It is disrespectful to the NBA champion and the highest paid NBA player.

So why include Tatum in the team if he cannot give him minutes? He should be a man. If he wants his first five to eat majority the minutes, then he should get role players that will back up their starters and will have no problem getting DNPs. Simple. If they lose because of that, then it is what it is.

Chuck Daly never had a match-up or minutes issue, Lenny Wilkins never had a match-up or minutes issue, Mike Krzyzewski never had a match-up or minutes issue, and Gregg Poppovich never had a match-up or minutes issue when they coached the Olympic Men's Basketball team.
