All my plants are soy intolerant, so I can only use plain water.

That tofu water contains whey and various other nutrients so it actually is a good idea to give it to your plants though, as whey is a natural insecticide and fungicide. And the nutrients are really good for soil quality.
Suddenly hit a rough patch financially recently right as a fungus and fruit flies were spreading through my garden, so we couldn’t afford to waste money on buying a fungicide and pesticide. Turned our freshly expired milk into paneer and then used the whey to water our plants. Fungus and fruit flies are no more, plants are all happy.
