minotaurs axe is great for what i like yo call a difficulty tweak, its special ability is that it only takes two rather than 3 bars of adrenaline to use a overpower, have it as your second melee weapon and pick whatever as the first and use battlecry of ares along with lighting the weapon your using on fire and then spam overpowers on any enemy and they just MELT, fun with bounty hunters

Hidden blades are the best. In the Ezio trilogy especially ac 2 i always use hidden blades over a sword because they're faster, can counter every attack and counter kill everyone even spear guys or brutes attacks.
In black flag the best is probably the rapiers because of its speed.
Rogue is just the last sword and dagger you get is the best.
Unity phantom blade.
Syndicate cane sword or kukri both are effective, fun and brutal.
Origins has a bunch of great weapons, regular sword I think i used one that makes you bleed, sickle sword would be the one you get from the mummy Akhenaten (also kh in Egyptian is pronounced as "heh" not "keh" which is why Bayek calls khemu as "hehmu"). Dual swords from nefertiti are amazing, they're so fricken fast and deal poison damage which makes them sitting ducks, great for clearing out a group of soldiers, spear of ra or something is on fire, then I didn't really use scepter or heavy weapons so I'd imagine whatever has fire or healing on it will be the best, predator bow would be a legendary one with the ranged multiplter perk it doubles damage if you're 20m away allowing you to one shot brutes or tougher enimies, bow of ra is second to another fire light bow but with maxed out rate of fire.
