This was actually more of a running joke bc he would always encourage us to try new foods but then would joke that it tastes bad if it was a pricey dish 😂

I was drinking Boba in front of my nieces, and they asked for some. When I said no, they immediately asked if it's because it's liquor. Apparently, this is how their dad has been answering whenever they ask for his drinks 😂😂😂

Wow, so different from what I experienced growing up! My dad would give me the best of everything and if I weren’t home, my mom would save some for me to eat whenever I did get home. Im grateful for their love and care for me and hope to do the same in the future when I have kids.

Completely opposite in my childhood household. My parents fed us kids the best out of what they could afford. If it was something expensive, they would pretend they weren't hungry or didn't like the food so that we could eat our fill. Then later they ate what was left over. My parents annoy me to the max but this video made me remember how caring and selfless they are 😭

My 7 year old daughter would straight up say "lemme taste it cuz you know we like different stuff, mom. If I like it we can switch" 😂

My Japanese mom would say 「大人の味」”it’s an adult’s taste”

Any time I want to discourage my son from eating something I want to eat, I enthusiastically tell him to try it and smile wide the whole time.

My father was never like this....He shared everything. As a mom now, i give the best to the kids and I eat whatever left.

My parents used to feed me expensive dishes..instead of themselves.
So I always shared my food with them...ahhh those memories😢.

[Stop judging my family we aren't poor...and also it was my choice to be a Vegan no one forced me.]

lmao!! This is like when my dad would make himself a bowl of ice cream before bed when me and my brother were little and he'd tell us we couldn't have any because icecream gave you nightmares and we were too little to fight back in our dreams 😭

Funny. I’m a Korean dad and I do the complete opposite. I want her to taste and try new things. I’ve offered her to try sushi multiple times.
