Navigator tool! Thats the point! by udemy i took many many courses but no one mention about it. While drawing a fruit or vegitable as realistic, the secret was using navigator tool + outline mode. Thank you for this great tutorial.

I am taking online schooling in graphic arts. I am also battling my second round of cancer - this time it is stage 4 & has spread throughout my body.Even though my DR says I am incurable I've decided that I cannot stop learning just because of my cancer -- in fact I need to have a place where I can 'go' that cancer cannot reach. I am so glad I found your videos. You have no idea how this is helping me. I'm utterly proficient in photoshop, but I'm taking a vector class this semester that I feel is kicking my ass hard. One of our assignments is to create a vector portrait and I swear I had no clue where to start, or the tutorials weren't for me, or some were just too advance. To me, you took a really advance technique and you broke it down beautifully. I understood everything and the visual you used was perfect!

Thanks Holly. When you create the leaf you can use the pen tool. The pen tool because it a three-sided figure and it is a small shape. Or you can use the same technique here.
