One of the most overlooked actors of his generation. That face just screams movie star, i just think he looks so cool and is so talented in front of a camera

Joel Edgerton and Ruth Negga in "Loving". Such powerful performances!

Edgerton is the type of actor that has consistency to everything he does. In almost all features i have seen Joel in he always brings his game to the big screen. Some actors you can see that their heart is not in it but not with Joel. Even if the feature ona whole might not work for me i can always rely on Joel giving me something good. I think my favorite so far is his own feature THE GIFT. A psychological thriller drama.

He was great in Schrader's Master Gardener. Definitely one of the most underrated films of 2022. Why are so many of Schrader's films so underrated? I mean, I know they tend to do well critically but they become way too forgotten to time & he's made some masterpieces.

"If you like being uncomfortable and disturbed" say no more.

"Man Bites Dog" really needs at least a Blu-ray update.

Great actor, seems like a genuinely good dude. Check out his movie The Stranger, if you haven't.

Thank you Joel for your work in “Warrior”. A modern classic.

Met this bloke when I worked hospo in Bondi junction. We had a lot of Aussie artists and actors come through and he was the most normal of them. Regular guy, paid an interest in one of my coworkers who has worked as an extra on Gatsby, looked like he wasn't getting enough sleep. Wish him well.

Love it that he got The Wages of Fear!!! Such an intense film!!!

Knowing that Joel said Man Bites Dog is a disturbing film makes me wants to see it now. And he got a bunch of free movies!!! Jealous!!!!

He absolutely nailed his comparison of Jackie Chan to Keaton and Chaplin. Such a unique talent.

Tarantino loved Man Bites Dog as well, great picks, Joel.
Friedkin's Sorcerer is even tenser than it's predecessor.

Watching this video evokes a very poignant feeling. I haven't bought a DVD or Blu Ray in a long time. I haven't looked at the stats but I keep hearing that physical media is slowly disappearing and the rise of Netflix and streaming services means that so many great movies out there may never be accessible eventually, you are simply told to watch what the curators at Netflix and other streaming services tell you to watch. There's something really comforting about watching someone standing in a little closet full of DVDs and browsing through them. Listening to the rattle of the disc in the case, the crinkling of the shrink wrap when he turns the DVD over in his hands, the shuffling of feet on the floor is really quite delightful.
