Here’s an interesting fact. You added a mismatched engine to the build. In real life, sometimes aircraft parts are damaged and have to be quickly replaced with spare parts that are not the right color. In the plane spotting community, this is known as a “wardrobe malfunction”, and is most common on nose cones and engine cowlings.

i loved this line of lego products, i have the cargo heliplane (60021) i always liked its play features and it was one of my most used legos as a kid. now it sits in a box collecting dust

Tail wing💀
Tail section is a better term. A “tail wing” implies that it is significant in creating lift, but it isn’t. It disrupts airflow in a certain direction in order to change the pitch of the aircraft.

I got a $5 Goodwill LEGO tub with just the back half of the large green cargo plane and half of a clone ocean exploration ship. How to creative use just the back half of a plane? SPACESHIP.

Tangentially related, but I once bought a vintage children’s puzzle for the toy line I collect, and it was missing two pieces. But had three cheerio pieces in it. So when I put it together and then took a picture I put the cheerio pieces in the missing puzzle piece holes XD

That reminds me one of my childhood memories. I found an old space set, abandoned in the forrest I used to walk around when I wanted to pretend Indiana Jones. It was covered in dirt, looked as if it is a crashed ship that waiting to be rescued, so I picked it up, washed it, and repaired it. I even made a bank account to buy some parts from a foreign website.
