It is painful to die but in reality we are continually dying in order to live. If we do not let and die we cannot experience life in Christ and Christ in us. For l have been crucified with Christ this should be a continuation in my life.

You ever read Soren Kierkegaard? I don't recall hearing you reference him but I haven't watched in a long time until recently.

I've only read Fear and Trembling but it was a terrific read.

If the portrayal of the cross is a reminder, then fine. When it becomes an idol, not so fine.

Has Kevin put out a lesson on an "imposter" yet?

I’m so glad you feel the same way about the cowboy Christian, that conversation made me cringe. I can’t believe that level of Christian discourse got any audience with Jordan Peterson when he talks to people like Jonathan Pageau and Bishop Barron.

I think that if what you’re broadcasting actually is the “view from the top of the mountain” I’m okay with imposters getting ahold of that because part of this view is “YOU CANT ACTUALLY HAVE WISDOM WITHOUT EMBODYING IT FIRST”

It doesn’t take long hearing those kinds of things for an imposter to start having their imposter-ness exposed within themselves.

I myself figured this out early on that I was susceptible to taking the temptation of the imposter, and because I was exposed to this kind of wisdom/transformation stuff I quickly came to the conclusion that a pilgrimage up the mountain was necessary.

Now, I’m okay with discussion and conjecture about the view from the top because I *think* I’ve caught glimpses of the landscape from places higher up the mountain that you can start to assemble a sort of coherent picture in your mental map.. but I don’t use that imposter language as any kind of explanatory tool to win people over in conversation because I find it so lacking and disingenuous.

My attempts to have these conversation with others have started to look something like this: “hey, I’m willing to bet that you see the mountain, and I know you see the path up that mountain, and I KNOW your life has taken you up that path to some degree.. keep going, the mountain is worth climbing”

Do you think consciousness, capacity, and fluency could be a bonded triad through which we can explore the tri-unity of God experientially?

Colossians 3:16-4:1 are very similar to Ephesians 5:18-6:9. Ephesians 5:18 begins by speaking about being filled with the Spirit; whereas Colossians 3:16 begins by speaking about the word of Christ richly dwelling within you. Other than that, what follows are the same subjects.

10lbs of muscle with 30lbs fat loss in 18 months would be all a Jesus miracle, unless your a beginner or on massive doses of chemical assistance....
I know your being hypothetical, but I guess it could be done....
