Returns from FD interest are fully taxable as per tax bracket so effective FD returns would be lower than it showed in video.

In the case of FD, Bank deducts TDS on an accrual basis and to that extent, i.e. on the TDS amount, depositors lose interest . In case of debt mutual fund TDS is payable on the realised gain with indexation benefit. As such for more than three years investment MF gives higher return than FD. Please confirm.
