This is excellent. Thank you! I’m not really a listener of classical guitar, but I’ve been wanting to learn how to play in the style of Omar Rodriguez with his playing in Mars Volta; how he uses melodic Spanish style phrasings paired with really fast bursts of a flurry of notes. Lessons like yours will allow me to improve my technique when it comes to finger picking, tempo control, chords and rhythm. Heck, I may just end up enjoying playing these classical pieces. Thanks again.

Rhayn--Thank you for the very helpful lesson. One thing...in the 1972 Max Eschig edition of the Etudes, which I believe is the original as published by Brouwer, in the first bar after the shift to 10th position, the first note on the third string is an F, not an F# as shown and played in you otherwise excellent video lesson. The F# sounds OK, which is why it may have slipped in, but the F sounds even better.

a few errors were found in your presentation
1-chord 12 as to oppose to what you indicate doesn’t have a f# ( in your presentation it is shown at the g string 11 fret ) it’s actually a F at the 10th position G string
2- chord 16 in your presentation is shown 1/2 step lower that what it is in the brouwer partition
