remembering Lilith the all white king cobra

Lilith is still one of the main subjects of my art work. I love her still. She's almost like a goddess to me. I can't explain why she means so much to me. I just feel like I could see inside her mind. Her struggle to trust while protecting herself was really relatable for me.

Majestic creature. Her intellect was so very visible and NERD did a great job getting her to gain some trust back in humans. So many hearts still bleed with Kevin and the NERD family with Lilith's passing. Rest in peace.

The snake that got me into snakes. I always loved them but never felt the need to do anything more then pick them up and put them back outside where I found them. The first second I saw Lilith I was speechless. I watched everything I could on her and looked up all about leucistic morphs and how they work. I now own 7 snakes. I actually moved from NJ to Maine and now NERD is my primary pet store. Sadly when I went to go meet Lilith for the first time her eye issue was full blown and she wasn't available. I never did get to meet her but her impact on my life will never be forgotten. I have a new life long hobby that I can't get enough of because of how stunning she was in a thumbnail on YouTube. You and most importantly Lilith gave me that.

She was one of the most graceful, beautiful snakes I've ever seen. I haven't seen very many white snakes like her, with beautiful eyes. I know her owner had a very deep connection to her, and love for her. I was heartbroken to learn she passed away.
There's no replacement for a snake like Lilith. But, I do hope her handler finds peace that he needs, and one day has a snake that reminds him of her in a way that feels like he has a piece of Lilith again. Beautiful girl
