The line "the vicious cycle is over the moment you smiled at me" hit me right in the feels when I first heard this song, because in DYWTYLM there is a line "and my reflection just wont smile back at like I know it should", to me this song is about him winning the battle with his inner demons and breaking free. I love that with Sleep Token their music has many interpretations so everyone's experience is also unique. He's a music wizard

Also there's alot of his lyrics that do refer to "sleep" but also there's real life issues and events he writes about that he's experienced.

His writing is very visual. He paints a picture for you so your brain can fill in the gaps of what he means. He uses the english language as brush in which he creates a beautiful painting that anyone can find themselves standing in the image he made. He is also very personal. He goes deep into places most songwriters are terrified to go to simply because they're so personal.

I really, really hope you'll consider moving on to at least the fan-favorite tracks in their catalog because they're just as mind-blowing: The Offering, Dark Signs, Higher, Sugar, Blood Sport (album version and from the Room Below version), Jaws, Atlantic, Like That, The Love You Want, Alkaline... you know what? One of the things you'll find when you listen to their previous album Tomb, is it is very oceanic themed. Drowning in the ocean. So the line "wash out the salt from my hands" though seems minor... it ties in. The whole trilogy ties in. Even the EPs tie in. Please go back when you can even if you don't post content of it. You're in for an amazing ride.

Saw them in Irving Texas on May the 4th be with you and the moment vessel sang "rain down on me" from this song lightning struck behind the venue and proceeded to thunderstorm over us in the lawn section. Truly an epic experience and one of the guys behind us shouted out "this is fucking biblical!!" Definitely one of the best concerts I've ever been to

I can honestly say that Vessel's piano, lyricism, delivery and feeling, coupled with ll's amazing drumming is an experience I never want to end and I love the way you both are able to fully immerse yourselves in hearing - and feeling - the whole package. Every so often a genius level musician or group of musicians come together and give extra with every single song. Sleep Token are this for us all right now.

There are millions of ST´s reaction videos out there and you guys are pretty much the only ones that actually pay attention to and analyse the lyrics. That´s an insta-sub in my book. ST´s musicality and production value is S-tier and next level stuff but the lyrics is really what makes me connect with them on a deeper level. Keep up with your reactions guys, they are the best!
