The Tualatin tribe, part of the Kalapuya people, traditionally lived in the Willamette Valley of Oregon along the Tualatin River. The tribe was displaced by European settlers in the mid-1800s and is now part of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, working to preserve their cultural heritage.
