Korg Electribe 2s : A close look at its internal synth

Thanks, GearFacts! I have one of these on order now. I'm glad to see that the synth is polyphonic. I'm hoping to layer PCM & Synth sounds to do LA Synthesis/Ai Synthesis kinds of things with it. It really looks like a fun unit! I didn't know about the Disco Lights underneath. That's fun :) Thanks again for a great run-through!

Yea, I guess that's true. A lot of people talk about what the sampler stock oscillators can't do compared to the synth. But not much about what they actually can do.

Great video! is this piece a good first piece of equipment for a guy who likes and would like to make something similiar to deep house like Kerry Chandler and Mr Fingers or other classics such as Victor Simonelli? And can it be used on its own?

Is it possible to assign drum sounds to midi notes on the same midi channel so that it can be controlled by a digital drumset ? On my electribe es 1 it was possible.

Hi Gearfacts, just a quick question regarding the use of a midi controller with the Electribe 2s, advice would be much appreciated. I have a £300-£350 budget, and looking to purchase a midi controller/keyboard(old or new) to connect up to my Electribe. Do you have any recommendations to narrow down my never ending search?
