Citizen has some really great models i think the night hawk and their feild watches as noted here

Makes sense. I was really expecting casios and it mostly is. Most people that buy watches actually needs watches why most will buy cheap rugged and quartz.

the reason that a lot of these fossil type watches are on this list is because some companies will buy these cheap offerings and sell them to other companies or schools.

and also that normal people buy them because of these companies or because their friend told them it was good for some reason

Both the speidel and the generic "nurse" watches are pretty low value for money IMO. The Speidel especially, look at the price and then the water resistance rating. This is supposed to be used day in and day out in a workplace where there might be... Fluids? And the indiglo type light is an upgrade costing more than it should. Casio would give you illumination, 100m, and possibly solar or a ten year battery for less money than the Speidel. 🤷‍♂️

I hate the “laverado” watch, I have the same watch by skmei, their all over amazon and are the exact same huge clunky uncomfortable watch.

Amazon shoppers sure buy tons and tons of ugly watches. I did like the look of the Invicta Diver and the Casio Garrison, however.

So, in my HO, the watch channel has very little impact in the purchase decision of the general public. Those channels are followed by real enthusiasts and are not use by the general public to search recommendations.
